If you are looking to use your desktop PC's superior resources to do art, you can probably use this laptop as a tablet for it and then have a portable drawing tablet when you are away from your desk, but that would need looking into before hand. I was never able to get comfortable with any pen+tablet setups before this. I have been using this setup with Clip Studio Paint for a while now and it works like a charm. 250 GB SSD with optional space for an HDD, as well as Intel bios which can be configured to run other OS's or boot from a USB stick without any hassle. It comes with 8GB of ram, half of which can be removed and upgraded with more if desired. Its integrated GPU isn't anything amazing but enough for me to draw at pretty high resolutions without issue. In particular, I'm using the model with Intel UHD 620 GPU and INtel 8265u CPU. It has a touch screen and I have been using it to draw for a while now, works like a charm. Lenovo no longer makes them as of this last year, but you can probably find one for not much over $300. Lenovo Ideapad Flex 15-IWL (paired with a Wacom pen)
